Yesterday the 29th of September the girls played Daingain in Durrow. The match started at half three. Niamh, Eilis, Munachi and Sarah all got their names on the score sheet. The backs all played very well in clearing the ball. The mid-fielders were excellent at getting the ball up to the forwards. The forwards were excellent at getting scores. The other team was tough but in the end Durrow girs won.

On Wednesday the 25th the girls in 4th, 5th and 6th had a football match against Ballinagar in the final.We played it in O’Connor Park.We were only allowed 9 players aside and the rest were subs. The match started at half six.There was only twenty minutes aside. We bet them by four points. The score was 2-3 to 3 points. After the match we went up to get the cup and Katelynn our captain said a few words. We also got our pictures taken after the match. We all got to hold the trophy.

There are 14 girls on the football panel.We started training in early spring.We had our first match 2weeks ago against Pullough ,we beat them.Then 1 week later we had a match against Balinagar.We also beat them!So far we won

our 2 matches and hopefully we will win afew more!!Thanks to our teacher Ms.Gaughan for training us!

At the start of the year we had a girls football team for Durrow. We didnt do well.Our couch let us play again this year. Our first match was against Pullough we beat them. Our secound match was against Ballinagar we beat them also. We still have more matchs to complete so please God we can make it to the final.

Miss Gaughan ( our coach) started training back after our winter break . In Early spring we had our 1^st training sesion , it was very good. Our 1^st match was against Pullough , We won that match which was a very good result. Our 2^nd match was against Ballinagar , the final score of that match was 4-11 to 4 points ! The durrow girls are hopeing to have another good match next time against Cloghan .

Our first match was against St. Philomenas, they beat us well. Our next match was against Rhode, which we won!! Our next 2 matches were against Ballinamere and Ballinagar. We won one and lost one. We didn’t make it to the final but we really enjoyed ourselves.
