On the sixth of November the boys from fourth, fifth, and sixth class in our school took part in the B division County final. It was a cold and wet day in O’Connor Park. We played Ballinamere.
We were beating them well in the first half but they came back at us in the second half. We started getting a lot of scores towards the end of the match. When the match was over we were very happy.
It was the first time in ten years that Durrow school has won the cup. Our coaches Mr. Kelly and Mr.Larkin are very proud of us.
When we went into the dressing rooms after the match we got sweets and drinks. The following day, we brought the trophy around to all the classes in school.

The boys football continued their winning streak beating Killeigh 13-6 to 3-1. The boys made a great start to the match scoring 3-1 within 5 mins. Killeigh made a strong effort to come back in the second half but the maturity of the 6th boys helped hold the team together. Next week they will face Daingain National School who beat the boys narrowly last year.
Our boys football team got off to a winning start against Ballinamere on Monday. The team fought a hard battle against their neighbours but in the end they came out winning 6-7 to 3-6
